URI, Oct 30: The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Uri has ordered the withholding of salary bills and related payments of the Roads and Buildings (R&B) Division Uri following repeated instances of alleged “non-compliance” by officials.
An order issued by SDM Uri stated that despite repeated directions, AEE R&B continuously failed to perform assigned duties, citing inability to work in the absence of the Executive Engineer R&B Division Uri.
Taking cognisance of the alleged non-compliant behaviour of the officials, the SDM has accordingly directed that all salary and other bills from the R&B Division Uri be withheld and submitted to his office for further action.
