Officials said the case began after a complaint was referred by the court under Section 156(3) CrPC.
They said the complainant alleged that he was the lawful owner of 10 marlas of land at Chowadhi, inherited and purchased through registered sale deeds.

Statements of witnesses, including one person falsely cited as a witness on the sale deed, further supported the fraud allegations, they said.
Revenue records authenticated by the concerned Patwari also confirmed the complainant’s ownership of the land, officials further said.
They said on the basis of documentary and scientific evidence, offences under Sections 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, and 471 RPC were established against the accused.
