SCOPE holds 51st AGM; highlights key achievements

JAMMU, Nov 10: The Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), the apex body representing Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) today convened its 51st Annual General Meeting (AGM), highlighting key achievements of the past year and outlining its strategic roadmap for the future.
The meeting was addressed by K P Mahadevaswamy, Chairman, SCOPE & CMD, NBCC, Brajesh Kumar Upadhyay, vice-chairman, SCOPE & CMD, Goa Shipyard Ltd and Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE, in the presence of a large gathering of CMDs, Directors and senior officials from various PSEs.
The AGM showcased SCOPE’s major initiatives, including the launch and membership drive of the SCOPE Social Interaction Centre, as well as leadership development programs such as DAKSH and AGLP 2.0, designed to nurture future-ready leaders.
The forum also highlighted the SCOPE Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions by PSEs to the nation’s growth.
Reaffirming its pivotal role in policy advocacy, SCOPE shared its achievements in engaging with global platforms like the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), alongside key national institutions such as EPFO, ESIC and DTNBWED, to align Indian PSEs with international best practices.
Looking ahead, SCOPE outlined a forward-looking vision aimed at strengthening the public sector’s contribution to Viksit Bharat.
Its strategic priorities include continued policy advocacy, leadership and skill development for a sustainable future and expanding the reach of its SCOPE Forum of Conciliation and Arbitration (SFCA).
With its renewed commitment, SCOPE aims to fortify the PSE ecosystem and reinforce the sector’s vital role in India’s inclusive and sustainable growth journey.
