Science Fest Vigyanotsava inaugurated at Subharti University

MEERUT, Mar 5: A two-day science festival Vigyanotsava began here at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, showcasing the creativity and problem-solving skills of young innovators.
The event witnessed a diverse array of scientific exhibits, models and projects, featuring Drone Show, Robo Race, Idea Hackathon, Project Display, LAN Gaming, Technical Poster Presentation and Display of Images, Reel and Shorts.
Vigyanotsava was inaugurated by Major General (Retd.) Dr. G.K Thapaliyal, Vice-Chancellor, Subharti University and Dr. Shalya Raj, Chief Executive Officer, Subharti University. Both the guests encouraged the young scientists. Dr. Krishna Murti, Executive Officer, Subharti University also encouraged them while visiting the exhibition.
Dr. Manoj Kapil, Dean, Subharti Institute of Technology and Engineering said, “Vigyanotsava is being celebrated as a Festival of Knowledge by students. Viksit Bharat is the theme of the festival with greater emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and winners will be awarded total prize money of Rs. 50,000.”
Dr. Mukesh Ruhella thanked everyone for contributing to the success of the event.
Dr. Vishwas Mishra convened the event. Nimisha, Ajay Nagar, Aishwarya and Akashdeep were anchors.
Dr. Kapil Kumar, Director, IQAC, Dr. Anindya Bhanjha, Amit Kumar Verma, Dr. R.K Ghai, Dr. Subhash Tiwari, Dr. Renu Mawi and Dr. Indraneel Bose were also present on this occasion.
Dr. Lubhan Singh, Dr. Sanchit Pradhan, Dr. Vidhi Khandelwal, Dr. Manju Adhikari, Dr. Neha Singh, Dr. Rupesh Pande, Dr. Sarika Abhay, Dr. Nisha Rana, Dr. Avneesh Kumar Tyagi, Dr. Rakhi Jha, Ashish Arya, and Dr. Dheeren Nayar attended the event as judges in different competitions.
