JAMMU, July 30: Amid, heavy rainfall and adverse weather conditions, authorities in Udhampur district today ordered the closure of all Government and private schools including CBSE schools on Thursday, July 31.
An order in this regard was issued by Chief Education Officer, Udhampur under the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur,
“All Government and private schools including CBSE schools will remain closed on Thursday, July 31, 2025, as a precautionary measure amid continuous downpour and rising water levels,” the order reads.
The order cited student and staff safety as the primary reason, with officials closely monitoring the situation for further action.
