JAMMU, Sept 5: The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has ordered that the schools in Jammu Division will continue to remain closed tomorrow.

“In continuation to this office order number DSEJ/GEN/46483-515 dated September 3, 2025, all Government and Private schools shall remain closed on September 6,” read an order issued by Director School Education Jammu, Dr Naseem Javaid Chowdhary.
Further, it has been ordered that all the Heads of the Institutions (HoIs) and staff shall report for duty with effect from September 8 to ensure a comprehensive security and safety audit of the school buildings.
They will also ensure the readiness of schools to resume offline classes and take an appropriate decision regarding the commencement of offline classes with effect from September 10.
Meanwhile, the concerned CEOs have been asked to monitor the day-to-day activities and submit a detailed report to the DSEJ office.
