JAMMU, Aug 17: Director School Education Jammu has ordered closure of all Government and private schools in Jammu division for tomorrow because of inclement weather in the region.

“In view of the inclement and bad weather conditions, it is hereby ordered that all Government as well as private schools of Jammu division shall remain closed for tomorrow i.e. 18-08-2025”, read the order in this regard, issued late this evening.
Meanwhile, the bi- annual Board examinations for 10th and 11th classes, scheduled for tomorrow (August 18, 2025) , have also been postponed across J&K UT as well as in Leh and Kargil of Ladakh UT.
Director Academics, JKBOSE, Dr Sudhir Singh told the Excelsior that all the centre superintendents as well as jurisdictional SHOs have been intimated in this regard and the new dates will be notified separately.
