UDHAMPUR, Oct 18: In a cooker explosion, a mid-day meal cook at Government Middle School Dudu was critically injured when he was preparing meal at the school, here today.
According to the police report, Baldev Singh (25), son of Sher Singh, resident of Paldai Basantgarh, District Udhampur was preparing meal at the school when cooker suddenly burst resulting into grievous injuries to the cook.
The school staff and locals took the injured person to PHC Dudu where doctor referred him to District Hospital Udhampur in view of his critical condition.
