POONCH, May 19: Infrastructure of some schools and residential houses suffered damage due to strong wind-storm late last night in different areas of Poonch.
Information reveals that, High School Gagrian suffered major damage as the one portion having three rooms, was damaged. The tin roof top was uprooted in wind storm, while some damages were reported in MS Guntar and to a residential house at Sundri area of Sawjian.

Officials from Loran area said that the roof of one residential house of two brothers identified as Sanaullah and Mohd Rashid was uprooted, MS Kalas was damaged, the roof of one room and kitchen of MS Moori in Arai was also uprooted.
Pertinent to mention that some more damages may also have been reported in other parts of the district but that is not yet reported. A senior official said that Revenue Department officials are on the job to assess the damages. People urged the administration to provide compensation for this loss and to repair the school buildings at the earliest.
