JAMMU, July 9: On the completion of its 105 years of existence and preservance State Bank of India Staff Association (SBISA) today celebrated its foundation day at Chandigarh.
The association was formed on 9th July 1920.
On this occasion, Iqbal Singh Malhi, general secretary, SBISA Chandigarh Circle organised a tree plantation drive at Sector-53 Chandigarh, where the members planted 106 floral trees.
The team then distributed flowers and sweets to all staff members posted at Bank’s Local Head Office and spread the positivity among the staff.
During the event, SBISA hoisted it’s Flag and honored its retired comrades, who took this association to such a level where all it’s members feel safe and secured.
Iqbal Singh also donated a cheque of Rs 2.00 lakhs to poor people welfare fund maintained at PGI and Armed Forces Flag Day Fund.
