JAMMU, Sept 26: State Bank of India (SBI), Business Office II, organized a two day housing loan/ car loan mela from today at its administrative Office Rail Head Complex near here.
As per a release, the mela was organized to highlight the latest schemes of the Bank to enable the people to take advantage of these customer friendly schemes of housing loan, car loan and Delhi Development Authority flat bookings.
It said the builders of Jammu viz Adarsh Buildwell Ltd, Simula Global Group of Industries Narwal, Gallon Builders Chowadhi and Royal Nest, Trikuta Nagar also participated in the mela.
Besides, Peaks Auto Kaluchak and Jamkash Vehicleades Channi Himmat also installed their pavilions in the mela. Delhi Development Authority (DDA), applications with earnest money deposit facility is being also made available to the customers during the mela. A large number of customers who visited the camp today availed the on spot EMD facility of DDA bookings.
Rajesh Anand, Regional Manager R B O-2 while talking to media persons said that this mela is the first of its kind wherein people are being made aware of the various housing loan schemes of the Bank viz purchase of plot, construction of houses, repairs and renovation of houses as well as purchase of cars with low rate of interest.
