SBI organises blood donation camp

CHANDIGARH, June 24: Regional Business Office (RBO) Chandigarh, State Bank of India (SBI) today organised a blood donation camp at Indian Medical Association Sector 35B, Chandigarh.
A handout stated that SBI is celebrating its 70th Foundation Day this year and to mark the celebration SBI is collecting 70,000 blood units from across India, and in this regard today 74 donations were made in the camp. All the donors were highly motivated to participate for this noble cause.
The camp was inaugurated by the chief guest, Hargunjit Kaur, Managing Director, Punjab Agro Industries Corporation, Chandigarh.
She appreciated the efforts of all the donors and also praised Subhashini Rai, Regional Manager, RBO Chandigarh SBI to organize the camp.
Naveen Saini, an SBI staffer donated blood for the 85th time and also motivated young donors for the same.
The donors were duly felicitated with a donor badge and memento for their contribution towards society.
