KUPWARA, Apr 1: On Navratras, Save Sharda Committee (SSC), Kashmir along with hundreds of followers organised Arti on the banks of river Kishenganga at LoC, Teetwal in North Kashmir district of Kupwara.

Earlier a large group from South India organised a hawan at Sharda temple LoC Teetwal. The Ghat constructed by district administration is open for Yatris since last year and is named after Swami Nand Lal Ji of Srinagar, who was the last saint to manage and run Sharda Peeth that lies in district Neelum PoK now.
Chairman of Save Sharda Committee Ravinder Pandita, while participating in Arti and holy dip has urged the State Government to construct the Ghat with proper facilities like changing rooms, safety chain, lighting to make it not only fit for religious tourism only but to promote border tourism too.
