JAMMU, June 24: Satish Kumar Sharma, chairman of Advisory Board J&K Dairy Farmers Association, was today conferred with the Dr V Kurien’s Lifetime Achievement Award- 2025. In this regard a function was organized by Pashudhan Praharee on the occasion of World Milk Day.
The award was presented to Satish Sharma for his significant contribution to the society and upliftment of dairy sector.
Sharma after superannuating as Commissioner of Income tax started pursuing many social works including upliftment of dairy farmers and animal welfare particularly of the border area of the JKUT. The Dr V Kurien Award, which recognizes significant contributions to the Indian dairy industry, is given out by the Indian Dairy Association every year.
