JAMMU, June 3: A deputation comprising of large number of people hailing from Green Enclave Ward 24, Rehari Colony met BJP President and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma.
The deputation apprised MLA about the problems being faced by them from last two days due to damage of the second transformer in two days because of the cables laid down by IRCON which caught fire and caused short circuit to transformers installed by the PDD on their area.
Taking a serious note, Sharma called upon the PDD officials and toured the area along with locals and officials of department and passed the directions for installation of the new transformer bearing capacity of 250 KVA.
Sharma also visited Rehari Colony and Rajpura along with officials of PDD, PHE, ERA and JMC. During his visit, the locals apprised the MLA about issues including leakages of water pipes and after works done by ERA of laying new sewerage system and water pipes, the holes were not filled properly thereby inviting accidents.
MLA directed the officials of ERA and PHE to immediately check and stop leakages of pipes and also cover the holes within days. He also directed for black topping of roads in Ward Number 24, Rehari Colony.
MLA also toured Hari Singh Nagar and Panchi Nagar areas along with locals and officials where black topping works are on a stage of completion.
Xen PDD Sanjay Sharma, BJP leaders Sanjay Khanna, Arvind Gupta, Karan Sat Sharma, AEE PHE Narinder Sapolia, AEE ERA Veerji Pandita, JE PHE Deepak Gupta, Foreman PDD Tejinder Dutta, Sanjay Sawhney, Satish Jandiyal and several others were also present on the occasion.
