JAMMU, Dec 8: Continuing the developmental spree in Jammu West, State vice president BJP and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) started various works at Gobind Nagar area falling in Ward Number 32 of Talab Tillo. Accompanied by JMC officials, Sharma started the works in presence of dozens of people hailing from the area.
The works will be taken under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of around Rs Seven Lakh. The works include construction of lane and By Lane at Sector Number 2 by Black Topping and construction of drain and upgradation of lane and by lane at Lane No. 2, Sector 3.
In a press statement issued, Sat Sharma said that the long pending demand of residents of Gobind Nagar has been fulfilled and he lauded the efforts of JMC as well for looking and solving public grievances in no time.
He said that a list of pending works in the Constituency has been already submitted to the corporation and it will be seen that each and every pending work is done within a stipulated period of time in order to avoid inconvenience to the residents of Jammu West.
