JAMMU, Apr 25: State president BJP and MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) visited Gole Gujral area of Ward 32 along with Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) officials, local residents and political activists of the area and started construction of community hall.
Pertinent to mention, the hall is being constructed with the amount contributed by MLA through his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) scheme which constitutes 13.50 lakh and an amount of Rs five lakh has been contributed by JMC.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the work for the community hall was started some time back in which pillars and slabs were placed but due to some reasons, JMC could not take up the works and the construction of a fully fledged community hall was left. He said that a proper community hall will be provided to the public of the area so that people from this ward and also from other adjoining wards including and other areas could take the benefit of the hall.
