JAMMU, July 5: J&K BJP president, Sat Sharma here today released the Aarti (devotional composition) named as ‘Ravidass Vandana’ containing teachings and ideals of Sant Guru Ravi Dass Ji.
This Aarti was written by BJP spokesperson, Balbir Ram Rattan.
On this occasion, Ashok Gandhi, a staunch follower of Guru Ravi Dass and Sanjay Bakshi of BJP Media Cell, were also present.
After the release, Sat Sharma said that teachings of Guru Ravi Dass have become even more relevant at present.
He also mentioned Begampura, saying that Guru Ravi Dass envisioned a city with no sorrow, fear, poverty or discrimination.
“It was the imagination of an ideal society where everyone would live equally and happily, free from caste and class distinctions,” Sharma maintained.
Balbir Ram said that he will continue to highlight the teachings of Sant Guru Ravi Dass Ji and his model of social equality so that the feeling of love, brotherhood and equality become stronger in society.
Ashok Gandhi and Sanjay Bakshi also spoke on the occasion.
