Sat releases book ‘Fostering of Hindutva in J&K’

JAMMU, Feb 19: J&K BJP president and MP (Rajya Sabha), Sat Sharma here today released the book ‘Fostering of Hindutva in J&K: Historical and Cultural Perspective’.
The book is authored by S.K Sharma, Former Commissioner of Income Tax and Co-Convener of Nanaji Deshmukh Library and Documentation Centre. The programme was attended by senior party leaders including vice president, Rekha Mahajan; general secretaries-Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan; Media Incharge, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra; All Cell Incharge, Ved Sharma; District president, Naresh Singh Jasrotia; spokesperson, Balbir Ram Rattan; Department of Library Incharge, Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra and other senior functionaries.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma emphasised that literature has the enduring power to shape generations and define the course of nations.
Lauding the author for intensive efforts, Sat Sharma further highlighted that the released book offers a comprehensive perspective on the historical and cultural evolution of the region and will serve as a guiding light for the youth to understand their civilization.
Acknowledging the leadership of PM Modi, Sat Sharma said that under the Modi Government, unprecedented efforts have been made to revive, preserve and promote the rich cultural and historical legacy of J&K along with that of the entire nation.
Author S.K Sharma, while speaking about his work, said the book conveys a message of unity and geographical integration.
