Sat hands over Rs 25,000 cheque to fire victim

JAMMU, Nov 2: BJP State president & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A), along with State secretary Sanjay Baru and Jammu West district president Ayodhya Gupta, handed over a cheque of Rs 25,000 to Thoru Ram, a resident of Talab Tillo as compensation as his shop got damaged in a fire few days ago.
Soon after the occurrence of the incident of fire break in the shop, Sat Sharma had taken up the matter with the Deputy Commissioner and the case for compensation was forwarded to Red Cross and a cheque for an amount of Rs 25000 was issued in favour of Thoru Ram, which was finally handed over to him by Sat Sharma.
Sat Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that it has always been his sincere effort that the loss caused by such incidents are adequately compensated so that the sufferer can be in a position to re-start his business and carry on  his routine life.
Sanjay Baru expressed gratitude to the BJP State president for quick follow up of the case which resulted into compensation in favour of the fire victim and added that it is indeed a highly appreciable initiative.
Other who were presented on the occasion were BJP leaders Jeet Angral, Beena Gupta, K.L. Gupta, Puran Sharma, Parveen Ghai, Puneet Gupta, Raj Kumar, Neelam Nargotra, Pardeep Mohtra, Sham Choudhary, Rahul Nargotra and Yash Pal.
