JAMMU, Dec 30: A senior IFS officer of AGMUT cadre has been appointed as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of Forest Force (HOFF) in the Jammu and Kashmir.
According to an order issued today by the Union Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Sarvesh Rai, an IFS officer of AGMUT-1991 cadre, who is presently posted as PCCF, in UT of J&K, is hereby appointed as PCCF & HOFF, Jammu and Kashmir.

This order will come into force from January Ist, 2026 after the retirement of present incumbent, Suresh Kumar Gupta on December 31, 2025.
