Saria weakens in narrow movements

NEW DELHI, Sept 29: Saria showed weakness on reduced offtake in an otherwise steady local steel market today.
Prices of other steels, however, continued to remain steady on scattered deals.
Traders said sluggish demand from stockist due to slowdown in constructions activity amid tight funds position, mainly kept steel prices steady.
In the saria section, kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm,12-mm and 16-25mm traded Rs 100 each lower at Rs 47,500, Rs 45,700, Rs 44,700 and Rs 45,500 per tonne, respectively.
The following are today’s quotations per tonne:
CTD saria (Kamdhenu): 8-mm 47,500, 10-mm 45,700, 12 -mm 44,700, 16-25 mm 45,500.
Saria Jai Bharat (TMT): 8-mm 45,100, 10 mm 44,800, 12-mm 44,100, 16-25 mm 44,400.
Amba shakti (TMT): 8-mm 47,300, 10-mm 46,000, 12-mm 45,000, 16-25 mm 45,500.
MS Angle: (50×5) (50×6) 44,700, (40×5) (40×6) 33,500.
