NEW DELHI : IAS officer M Saravanan has been appointed as Private Secretary to Union Minister Jitendra Singh.
Saravanan, a 2002 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre, has been appointed as PS to Jitendra Singh–Minister of State for Science and Technology, Earth Sciences, Prime Minister’s Office, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, and Atomic Energy and Space–for a period of five years, according to an official order.
43-year-old Saravanan hails from Tamil Nadu and is presently working in his cadre. (agencies)
