JAMMU, Dec 19: Sant Mela Singh College of Education, Digiana – Jammu, organized a series of extension lectures to enlighten the academic staff and the students of the college.
The series of extension lectures was inaugurated by Dr S P S Dutta, Prof Emeritus UGC, University of Jammu, who was followed by Prof Darshna Sharma, Director, Directorate of Distance Education, JU.
Prof S P S Dutta delivered lecture on the topic “Plants looking Animals”. He provided very valuable information regarding different varieties of fish which were earlier present in Gadigarh nallah but due to waste material coming out of different industrial units of Gangyal area, they stand vanished now.
Pro Darshna Sharma deliberated on psychological testing. She discussed the characteristics of standardized psychological tests of emotional maturity on the students and staff of the college and then discussed its various practical components that are scoring and interpretation,
In the practical session students raised many queries and the same were clarified by the resource persons.
