UDHAMPUR, Mar 4: Department of Youth Services and Sports organized Sansad Khel Spradha of Jaganoo, Narsoo and Parlidhar blocks, here today.
The ZPEO Jib, In-charge ZPEO Chenani and In-charge ZPEO Ramnagar managed the block level Spradha under the patronageship of Dr Jitendra Singh, MoS PMO and chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Indu Kanwal Chib and Member Secretary, Chairman DDC Udhampur Lal Chand.
The event was held under the guidance of Director DYS&S, Gazanafar Ali and supervision of DYSSO Swaran Singh.
In Parlidhar block, the under-17 age group boy’s matches of Volleyball, Kabaddi, Wrestling and Athletics were organised.
In Volleyball, Panchayat Rang defeated Panchayat Pinger by 2-0 sets, while in Kabaddi Panchayat Rang defeated Panchayat Pinger by 24-18 points and in Wrestling, Sachin Bandral emerged winners in 60-70 kg.
In Athletics, Sat Paul, Rahul Singh, Akshay Sharma stood winners in 800, 400 and 100 meters respectively, while Anil Kumar and Keshav Singh Sambyal scripted wins in shot put and long jump respectively.
In the Narsoo block, Panchayat Kither defeated Panchayat Moud by 2-0 sets in Volleyball, while Panchayat Moud beat Panchayat Bali in Kabaddi.
In Jaganoo block, Panchayat Barta trounced Panchayat Jaganoo by 2-1 sets in Volleyball, while Panchayat Jaganoo defeated Panchayat Barta in Kabaddi and Amandeep, Mohit Kumar & Sourav emerged winners in Wrestling, besides in Athletic, Varun Verma, Amandeep, Deep Gorkha stood 1st in 100, 800 and 400 metres respectively, while in long jump, Varun Verma scripted win.
