Sanjita urges women to lead self-reliant India Mission

AKHNOOR, Oct 22: Sanjita Dogra, State General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir and State Headquarter In-charge, today urged the women to lead the Self-Reliant India Mission.
Sanjita was addressing a women’s conference organized under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan (Self-Reliant India Campaign) in Akhnoor.
The programme was organized by BJP Akhnoor district president Kuldeep Raj Sharma.
During the conference, Sanjita Dogra administered an oath of self-reliance to the women attendees, encouraging them to actively participate in the national movement and work towards becoming economically and socially empowered.
Through a special Sankalp Patra, she emphasized the importance of adopting self-reliance as a guiding principle in their daily lives.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjita highlighted that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, India is progressing rapidly toward self-reliance.
She said, “When a woman becomes self-reliant, she empowers not only her family but also the entire society. It is the BJP’s constant endeavor to ensure that every woman recognizes her skills, inner strength and rights to become an empowered citizen.”
Senior BJP leader Vinay Gupta said that the BJP’s core mission is to reach the last person in society, in line with the spirit of Antyodaya.
“Atmanirbhar Bharat is not merely a campaign but a people’s movement and such initiatives play a crucial role in motivating women to take charge of their futures,” he added.
Kuldeep Raj Sharma, district president, lauded the women of Akhnoor for their talent and determination.
He said, “The BJP is proud to provide platforms where women can express their ideas and take steps toward self-sufficiency. The party remains steadfast in its commitment to women’s empowerment and such programmes will continue to be organized in the future.”
A large number of women attended the event and pledged to contribute actively to the self-reliant India Mission.
Among others who were present during the conference included DDC Bhushan Baral, women’s wing district president Rajni Sharma, Shakti Bhagat, Geetu, Sushma Devi, Nisha Devi and Gurpal Singh.
