JAMMU, Dec 27: Jammu and Kashmir BJP Mahila Morcha president, Sanijta Dogra, in a meeting at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here, reviewed the Morcha’s ongoing activities, particularly related to the nationwide eight specific programmes.
She said few days ago, these programmes were discussed in the North Zone workshop of Mahila Morcha held under Morcha National vice-president, Rekha Gupta at Chandigarh and attended by Morcha leaders from Uttrakhand, Delhi, Pubjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Chandigarh.
BJP Mahila Morcha team from Jammu and Kashmir which attended this workshop comprised of Reema Padha, Neha Mahajan, Suman Raina, Arti Koul, Anu Manhas, Vidushi Chouhan, Babita Bhat, Suhani Katoch and Arti Jasrotia. Later they were assigned various responsibilities for the eight specific programmes to be undertaken in the UT.
Sanjita Dogra, while reviewing the eight programmes, was briefed about the constitution of teams at Mandal level, which are involved in undertaking Yuvti Sammelan, Smart Women Leadership programme, NGO and Self Help group connect, etc.
Sanjita Dogra said that during the last about ten years PM Narendra Modi has launched a number of welfare schemes for the socio-economic upliftment of different sections of the society and the women too have received due share in these schemes. The motive of undertaking the specific eight programmes is to reach out to women who have excelled and proved their intelligence, capability in different fields and share with them the women focussed good works of Modi Government in the country. She said that while the welfare schemes in large have been availed by the women in Jammu and Kashmir like other parts of the country, there may be many who might not have applied for any of the schemes, need to be guided and helped. She stressed upon the women leaders assigned eight programmes to reach every household also and make them aware about splendid works of Modi Government.
