Sangram Sena’s concern over damage caused to Deewan Mandir

JAMMU, Sept 4: Sangram Sena has expressed concern over the damage caused to the ancient Deewan Mandir in the recent heavy rains and lightning.
A handout stated that a Sangram Sena team led by its president, R.K Raina and including Captain R.S Langeh (retired), General Secretary Sangram Sena along with its executive body visited Deewan Mandir at Kachi Chawni and noticed that one portion of the temple has been damaged in the resent lightning.
Speaking on the occasion Raina said that people have faith in the ancient temple and it is also one of the known heritage complexes in Jammu.
He appealed to J&K LG, Manoj Sinha and administration of Jammu to renovate the temple immediately on priority basis by passing directions to concerned department.
Raina further said that the temple is also a heritage monument.
Ved Gandotra, President Freedom Fighter Association; Sudhir Padha, Chairman Divine Touch and Member Sewa Samiti; Brij Mehra, President Jammu Pragrati Manch; Rajesh Banathia and Karnail Singh of Shree Raghunath Mandir Sewa Samiti, Pawan Kumar, Raju Jamwal, Kapil Sharma, Kuldeep Singh, Sanjay Gupta, Shiv Kapoor, Dr. A.K Chopra, Rajesh Sharma, S. Sukhvinder Singh, Vice President Freedom Fighter, Rajeev Mahajan and others were also present on the occasion.
