JAMMU, Dec 15: Core Group of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sangharsh Samiti met today at Geeta Bhawan, under the chairmanship of Convener of the Sangharsh Samiti, Col Sukhvir Singh Mankotia and President of Shree Sanatan Dharma Sabha, Parshotam Dadhichi.
The meeting involved serious discussions regarding the ongoing controversy surrounding the MBBS entrance examination and the role of the Shrine Board. The Core Group unanimously decided that a massive protest against the Shrine Board will be held on the upcoming Wednesday at all major locations and Tehsil centers across the entire province.
On this occasion, displaying a firm stance, Col Sukhvir Singh Mankotia announced that the Sangharsh Samiti is now preparing to take this fight to the national level, “If this issue is not resolved at the local level, the Sangharsh Samiti will not remain silent. “Playing with the future of students will not be tolerated at any cost, and our struggle will continue until justice is served,” said Col Mankotia.
Addressing the meeting, Parshotam Dadhichi issued a clear warning to the administration and concerned officials. “The decision taken regarding the MBBS admissions must be immediately reversed. If this decision is not withdrawn and students are not given justice, this movement will take a monstrous form. We will initiate a very large mass agitation, for which the entire responsibility will lie with the administration,” warned Mr Dadhichi.
