SRINAGAR, June 30: Minister for Agriculture Production, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura today informed that Government has submitted a proposal to Government of India for up-gradation of road from Baleeni to Katal Batal at an estimated cost of Rs 7.09 crore.
Replying, on behalf of Minister for Public Works, to a question of Ajatshatru Singh, the Minister said a project for up-gradation of 6.32 km road which leads to Devsthan Paed Devta from Nagrota side at an estimated cost of Rs 7.09 crore has been submitted to Union Ministry of Rural Development under PMGSY Phase-X for sanction, which is awaited.
The Minister said that there is a bridal path of length 3.50 kms which takes off from Aitham of Sidhra-Surinsar road and is presently being used by pilgrims to visit Paed Devsthan. He said currently there is no proposal to construct the road on the said location.
