JAMMU, Oct 1: Sri Sanatan Dharma Sabha of Jammu Kashmir today organized a function at Bharat Mata Mandir Trikuta Nagar to reward the tableaux, which were part of the Shri Krishna Janmashtami procession.
Social activists Sunil Sharma, who is also President of Akhil Bharatiya Dharma Prachar Seva Samiti, was awarded for overall best Jhanki. The tableaux brought out by Kashmiri Pandit Sabha, Ambala and Maharani Tarawanti Trust were presented mementos.
On this occasion, President of Shri Sanatan Dharma Sabha, Purushottam Dadhichi, said that such grand programs should be organized to promote Sanatan Dharma and to make the coming generations aware of their religion and tradition. He said that Shri Sanatan Dharma Sabha has been organizing and promoting the tableaux every year so that a message goes to the society for the upliftment and awakening of Sanatan.
Prabhat Singh, Chief Secretary, Sanatan Dharma Sabha announced that Sunil Sharma of Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti has done a wonderful job in the society for the last so many years and set example for others.
Sanatan Dharma Sabha secretary Pawan Baddu, Dilip Gupta, Bodh Raj Sharma and many other officials were also present on the occasion.
