JAMMU, Aug 26: The Samvedna Society, under the leadership of Chairman Keshav Chopra, organized the prestigious “Duggar De Rattan” Awards 2025 at the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Jammu. The event honoured individuals from diverse fields including Dogri artists, singers, choreographers, dancers, sportspersons, social activists, Jagran Committees, influencers, bloggers and Satsang Mandlis for their remarkable contributions.
SSP Traffic Jammu Farooq Qaiser and Joint Director Information Deepak Dubey distributed the awards. SSP Qaiser praised the initiative and urged citizens to follow traffic rules, avoid rash driving, overspeeding, use of mobile phones while driving and vehicle modifications. He called the event a positive step in building a better society.
Deepak Dubey applauded the Samvedna Society for recognizing community heroes, highlighting the importance of civil society in promoting cultural and social growth. Keshav Chopra emphasized cultural preservation and social responsibility. He called the awardees the “true gems of our region” and urged collective efforts against drug abuse.
Prominent attendees included Rahul Dutta, Rajat Sharma, Sahil Mahajan, Urja Singh, Dr. Alka Sharma, Jatin Kumar, Karuna Gupta, Jatinder Mengi, Aneesha Sharma and others. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by senior Dogri artist Parveen Sharma.
