Samsung announces winners of ‘Solve for Tomorrow 2025’ Innovation Challenge

JAMMU, Nov 4: Samsung, India’s largest consumer electronics brand today announced the top four winners of its flagship national innovation programme, Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025.
The initiative, now in its fourth year, encourages young innovators to create tech-driven solutions addressing real-world challenges in Indian communities.
The winning teams, Percevia (Bengaluru), NextPlay.AI (Aurangabad), Paraspeak (Gurugram) and Prithvi Rakshak (Palamu), secured Rs 1 crore in incubation grants and will continue developing their prototypes at IIT Delhi’s FITT Labs with expert mentorship support.
This year’s contest featured thousands of student participants from across the country, including strong representation from Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns.
Finalists also received access to advanced R&D facilities at FITT to refine their ideas before the Grand Finale in New Delhi.
Percevia (Bengaluru): AI-powered smart glasses for the visually impaired, offering real-time spatial awareness using voice and vibration feedback.
NextPlay.AI (Aurangabad): Mobile AI sports platform featuring a Virtual Coach, AI Referee and Neuro-Inclusive tracker for inclusive athletic training.
Paraspeak (Gurugram): Deep-learning device that converts slurred speech into clear communication for individuals with dysarthria.
Prithvi Rakshak (Palamu): Gamified green-tech app promoting eco-friendly actions like tree adoption and recycling.
The Top 20 finalist teams each received Rs 1 lakh and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip smartphones for their creativity and innovation.
The jury comprised leaders from Samsung and representatives from academia, government, and industry, including senior officials from MeitY Startup Hub, Startup India, Atal Innovation Mission (NITI Aayog) and the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India.
J B Park, president & CEO, Samsung Southwest Asia, said the programme continues to nurture youth talent from every part of the country, especially smaller towns:

Samsung’s long-term partnerships with Startup India (DPIIT), MeitY Startup Hub and Atal Innovation Mission continue to strengthen India’s youth startup ecosystem.
With mentorship, incubation support, and access to Samsung’s R&D expertise, Solve for Tomorrow 2025 aims to power India’s next generation of tech entrepreneurs.
