SAMBA, Sept 18: Samba Police has seized six vehicles including two dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations (PS) Bari Brahmana, Ghagwal and Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police said its teams headed by SHO PS Samba, SHO PS Bari Brahmana, In Charge Police Post (PP) Rajpura of PS Ghagwal and In Charge Police Post (PP) Rakh Amb Talli of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized two dumpers bearing Registration Numbers. JK08Q-3273, JK21F-9867, two tractor trolleys bearing Registration Numbers, JK02P-0336, JK11B-2521 and two tractor trolley without numbers, which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
All the vehicles have been seized by police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action, police said.
