SAMBA: Oct 10: Samba police has seized ten dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations (PS) Ghagwal and Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police said its teams headed by SHO PS Samba, SHO PS Ghagwal, in charges Police Posts (PP) of Supwal and Rakh Amb Talli of PS Samba and in charge Police Post (PP), Rajpura of PS Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized ten dumpers bearing Registration Numbers JK14L-9596, JK14H-9791, JK14H-1802, JK21G-9091, JK21G-9959, JK21G-5654, JK21J-8185, JK21J-8683, JK21G-7817 and JK21G-6049 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
These vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology and Mining Department, Samba for further legal action, police said.
The seizure was made under the supervision of SSP Samba Virinder Manhas
