Samba police rescues 10 bovines

SAMBA, Feb 26: Continuing its drive against bovine smugglers and their propagators, Samba police has successfully foiled a bovine smuggling attempt in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Samba and rescued ten bovines.
A police spokesman said acting on information received from reliable sources, a team of Police Post (PP) Rakh Amb Talli of PS Samba has successfully foiled bovine smuggling attempt and rescued ten bovines which were being smuggled by foot at village Chak Dayala near Basentar river. All the rescued bovines have been shifted to a safer location, he added.
A case FIR No. 50/2026 U/S 223 BNS, 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station (PS) Samba and investigation started.
