SAMBA, Oct 5: In its continuous drive to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, District Police Samba under the directions of Dr. Koshal Sharma, SSP Samba arrested one drug peddler under the jurisdiction of PS Samba and recovered 100 intoxicant capsules from his possession.
A police party of P/S Samba headed by Inspector, Chanchal Singh, SHO Samba and under the direct supervision of Deepak Digra, Dy.SP, Headquarters Samba, during surprise Naka at Budwani Talab Samba, intercepted one person on suspicious grounds. During his frisking, 100 Nos. of Capsules (Parvon Spas Plus) were recovered from his possession.
The accused person was identified as Preet Kumar, Son of Banarsi Dass of Budwani, Samba. The accused was arrested and the contraband items were also seized. In this regard, a case FIR No. 262/2018 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at P/S Samba and further investigation is going on.
