SAMBA, May 20: In continuation to its drive against the absconders and criminals, Samba police apprehended an absconder who was wanted in a case FIR registered at Police Station (PS) Ghagwal and evading arrest for the last two years.
Police said a team of Police Station (PS) Ghagwal headed by SHO Ghagwal apprehended an absconder namely Shabir Ahmed, son of Dalbir Ahmed of Agra Chak tehsil RS Pura district Jammu wanted in case FIR No. 102/2018 U/S 188 IPC, 2/3 PCA Act registered at PS Ghagwal.
Later he was produced in the court of law and the arrest warrant U/S 512 CrPC issued against him got executed.
