We heartily felicitate the officers, engineers, workers and labour who are working at Salal Hydroelectric generation plant with all the efficiency and dedication that has won it the sobriquet of “Station of the Day” on the basis of cumulative count in a year provided that the Power Station has achieved the Yearly Cumulative Plant Availability Factor (PAF) upto NAPAF as fixed by Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC).
There is no need to assert the importance of power for the development of the State. We have a number of hydroelectric power generating units that are performing efficiently. However, the completion for efficiency and competence on the basis of which Salal project in Reasi has won the award and distinction is a matter of pride for the functionaries and the State. We expect other generation plants to come up to this standard and thus make our state an ideal state where power generation meets all the required conditions. We congratulate all concerned and hope this encouragement will infuse greater spirit of dedication in them.
