SRINAGAR, Oct 22: National Conference (NC) general secretary and MLA Khanyar, Ali Muhammad Sagar today presided over an Awami Darbar in Koolipora, Khanyar.
On this occasion the locals raised their issues before Sagar and he listened to them and promptly directed the concerned officials to address these issues.
Executive heads of various departments and Tehsildar Khanyar were also present on this occasion.
Issues like water scarcity, erratic power supply and ration problems were highlighted by the locals.
Speaking on the occasion the MLA said that NC manifesto, which includes 12 guarantees and 24 promises, is a roadmap to address public grievances in J&K.
He assured the people that the government led by Omar Abdullah will work tirelessly to fulfil all the commitments.
Sagar impressed upon the PHE Department to resolve water crisis plaguing the area.
“Swift action must be taken to ensure well-being of the people,” he maintained.
