SAMBA, July 16: The Safai Karamcharis of Vijaypur Municipal Committee who are on strike for last 20 days demanding payment of their wages of last three months, today locked the Committee office in protest.
The protesters said that they were forced to take extreme step as the authorities of Municipal Committee, Vijaypur have failed to settle the issue and pay the wages of the Safai Karamcharis.
The protest was led by Tarseem Lal Massi president of the Safai Karamcharis Vijaypur.
