Sabha resents non-inclusion of Rajput Ministers

SAMBA, Jan 22: Shri Amar Kashatriya District Rajput Sabha Samba has expressed strong resentment against the non-inclusion of community Minister in the Cabinet in the Omar Abdullah led regime.
Addressing a press conference here today, district president of the Sabha Capt (Retd) Inder Singh Sambyal expressed serious concern over the exclusion of Rajput Ministers including those accorded MoS status. He said the top leadership of both the ruling parties (NC and Congress), went for over-hauling and ignored the community in the State this time.
The Sabha president pointed out that earlier, there were four Ministers in the Government including Ministers of State but after this so called ‘expansion’ all the members from Rajput community were dropped. There was strong resentment among the community over this development. The Chief Minister and top leadership in Congress should review their decision. The only Minister from Samba district was also dropped and public was highly concerned over the mater.
Vice president of the District Rajput Sabha, K D Singh and general secretary Surjit Singh Sambyal also spoke on the occasion. All other executive members of the Sabha were also present.
