JAMMU, Feb 1: Pradesh vice president of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Welfare Society, Saadika Khan today highlighted her commitment to interfaith harmony and denouncing the divisive agenda of extremist groups in the country.
Addressing a press conference here, Saadika Khan, who conveyed her message of communal harmony and brotherhood during her recent visit to Ayodhya, revealed that ever since her spiritual experience in Ayodhya, she and her family have faced continuous harassment and threats from extremists. Undeterred, she affirmed her steadfastness and belief in the oneness of God, asserting that both Ram and Rahim represent the same divine entity.
Expressing her commitment to unity, Saadika urged the elimination of the atmosphere of hatred in the country, stating that only when individuals rid themselves of hate can peace and harmony prevail globally. She made it clear that she refuses to bow down to any extremist ideology.
Acknowledging Saadika Khan’s courage, Akshit Mahajan (president of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Welfare Society in J&K), commended her efforts in fostering unity among Hindus and Muslims. He highlighted her solo journey from Jammu to Ayodhya, participating in the Pran Pratishtha program of Lord Rama and delivering a message of brotherhood.
Furthermore, Mahajan said that the construction of the Knowledge-centric temple in Mathura and Kashi is eagerly awaited. In a stern message to extremists, Mahajan warned against dividing Hindus and Muslims in J&K. He emphasized that there is no place for those with extremist ideologies in the region.
National Secretary Sarabjeet Singh emphasized that sadika Khan’s work exemplifies the spirit of India’s culture and the victory of brotherhood over divisive forces.
