RVS iGlobal calls on LG Sinha, discusses IT, technical Ops

JAMMU, Nov 4: To discuss the growing role in powering international IT and technical operations, in Jammu region, RVS iGlobal, a UK-headquartered technology company with its Global Service Delivery Centre called on LG Manoj Sinha, here today.
The meeting was facilitated by Gaurav Gupta, spokesperson BJP J&K UT who briefed the LG on the company’s growing global footprint and the opportunities emerging for skilled youth in the region.
During the meeting, Vikrant Gupta, CEO of RVS iGlobal, briefed the LG on the company’s comprehensive suite of high-tech services, including IT Technical Support, Cybersecurity, SOC, NOC and AI-developed solutions, delivered round-the-clock for clients based in the UK, the USA and Europe.
He shared that a delegation of British and American clients will be visiting Jammu later this month, as part of RVS iGlobal’s ongoing initiative to connect global partners with the region’s skilled workforce and showcase Jammu’s growing IT capabilities.
The visit will also highlight the company’s success in attracting international collaboration and investment interest to the Union Territory.
The LG appreciated RVS iGlobal’s initiative in bringing global attention to Jammu & Kashmir’s technology potential and expressed interest in meeting the visiting delegation, commending the company’s efforts in creating skilled employment, promoting inclusivity and strengthening international business relations from the region.
Meanwhile, a delegation of the Catholic Church, led by Rt. Rev. Ivan Pereira, Bishop of Jammu-Srinagar, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, today.
Meanwhile, Dr. B.N. Tripathi, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu called on Lieutenant Governor and briefed him on the ongoing restoration and rehabilitation works being undertaken at the University following the floods that occurred on August 26, 2025, causing significant damage to infrastructure.
The Vice Chancellor also briefed the Lieutenant Governor on the various academic, research, and extension activities being carried out by the University to promote agricultural development in the region.
Praveer Ranjan, Director General, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) also called on Lieutenant Governor.
He was accompanied by Sudhir Kumar, ADG, CISF and Navajyoti Gogoi, IG CISF.
