RSS has done yeoman’s service to nation in last 100 years: Balbir

JAMMU, Oct 1: Balbir Ram Rattan, national general secretary of the Indian Branch of British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation, has said that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has done yeoman’s service to the nation over the last 100 years.
He said that the RSS has been dedicatedly serving the nation and its people and contributed towards it during the last 100 years.
On the eve of completing 100 years of RSS, Balbir said that the organization has played a vital role in uniting Indian society, eradicating caste-based discrimination, and fostering a strong sense of national pride.
He stated that the RSS has consistently worked towards building a cohesive and inclusive society, where people of all backgrounds can live together in harmony. According to Balbir, the guiding principles of the RSS closely align with the teachings of Guru Ravidass, who advocated for equality, unity, and brotherhood among all sections of society. He noted that the values of social justice and unity promoted by Guru Ravidass are reflected in the initiatives undertaken by the RSS across the country.
The British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation, working globally to spread the teachings of Guru Ravidass described the 100-year journey of the RSS as historic and deeply inspiring. The Foundation acknowledged the unwavering commitment of the RSS towards nation-building and societal upliftment.
Balbir further said that in a diverse and culturally rich country like India, the importance of organizations that promote unity, social harmony, and patriotism cannot be ignored. He lauded the RSS for becoming the world’s largest voluntary social organization, known for its values, discipline, and tireless service to the nation.
