RSS centenary begins in Ayodhya

AYODHYA (UP), Sept 30: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will commence its centenary year by organising various programmes at Ramkatha Park on the banks of the Saryu river in Ayodhya.
The programme will conclude with a procession by RSS volunteers on the Rampath, and will be greeted by saints and religious leaders from various temples in Ayodhya.
The procession to begin from Ramkatha Park, will reach the Rampath via Veena Chowk and continue to the main gate of the Shri Ram temple.
Volunteers marching from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple will take a U-turn to the other side of the Rampath, concluding at Ramkatha Park.
The flag hoisting ceremony will begin at Ramkatha Park in the presence of RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale.
All volunteers present at Ramkatha Park will salute the flag. Following the Amritvachan Subhashita, RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale will deliver his address, which will be broadcast live on e-platforms and other media.
After the completion of the intellectual discourse of Sarkaryavah, the volunteers of Ramlal Nagar and Shri Ashok Singhal Nagar of Ayodhya Mahanagar will stand in a queue for the Path Sanchalan and will proceed towards Veena Chowk.
From Ramkatha Park to Shri Ram Mandir, the volunteers doing Path Sanchalan on both sides of Rampath will be greeted by flowers.
For this, 51 places have been identified from Ramkatha Park to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir. Ravi Patel, contact head of Ayodhya Mahanagar of RSS, is coordinating the arrangements at identified welcome places.
