POONCH, Jan 12: A sum of Rs 62000 was stolen today from Jammu & Kashmir Bank located at Mendhar Town.
Of the stolen cash, Rs 49000 belonged to Mohammad Ishaq of Sandot and Rs 13000 to Mohammad Bashir of Kasbalari, who had come to deposit the same in the Bank. A case in this connection was registered at Mendhar police station and investigation started.
Such theft cases are continuously coming to the fore in Jammu & Kashmir Bank but till date no solution has been found.
