JAMMU, July 26: At least 4-5 unidentified persons snatched Rs 30000 from a vegetable vendor in Qasim Nagar area here today.
Around 3:30 AM, while Ajay Kumar of Bahu Fort, who works at Vegetable Market Narwal, was on way to the work, around 4-5 people riding on a motorcycle and a scooty cornered him and pointed sharp weapons on his head, to snatch Rs 30000 from his pocket, police sources said.
Acting on the written complaint of the victim, they said, police in Bahu Fort area have started an investigation into the matter.
No individual has been arrested so far, they said.
