SAMBA, Sept 9: District Administration Samba today released a compensation of Rs. 10 lakh in favour of Next of the Kin of deceased workers under the provisions of the Employees’ Compensation Act.
The compensation was formally handed over to the families by the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Champa Devi, in the presence of the Assistant Labour Commissioner, Himani Jerath, who had facilitated the compensation process on behalf of the Labour Department.
