JAMMU, Oct 30: Regional Passport Office (RPO) organized a symposium on the preventive measures to be taken by the employees so as to stay away from the orthopedic/joints ailments.
The symposium started with a presentation given by the very well renowned Orthopedic Dr Lovy Padha accompanied by Dr Rohit Bhatia, a famous Physiotherapist.
During the presentation, Dr Patha made aware the passport employees about general sitting habits, shifting of muscles as well as proper posture to be followed while working before the computers in the office.
He also emphasized the need of the hour to keep analyzing ourselves to confirm the correct posture of all our daily activities, i.e. while studying, driving, sleeping etc.
The role of taking milk, Vitamin-D and daily-walk was shown to be of paramount importance.
Dr Rohit Bhatia also enthralled the employees by showing pictures of correct as well as incorrect postures of sitting.
He appealed the younger generation about carrying their school bags in quite a lethargic manner, which culminates to serious orthopedic ailments in their coming future.
